Last Updated: October 30, 2025
Smart Choices Now (“Smart Choices Now”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with smart-choices-now.com and related websites, applications, widgets, email notifications, and other mediums (collectively, the “Services”).
Important note about data collection: Smart Choices Now is a publisher/marketing intermediary. We do not directly collect or store personal contact information such as names, phone numbers, or email addresses for marketing purposes. When you interact with offers, forms, or quote requests embedded on our pages (including iframes or links), any personal information you submit is collected and processed by the third-party provider/advertiser (the “Provider”) responsible for that offer, under their own privacy policy. We do not send marketing emails or SMS messages directly to users.
1) Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide to Us Directly
We generally do not solicit or store your personal contact details. However, we may receive limited information if you choose to contact us directly. In those cases, we process the information you provide (such as your name, email address, and message) solely to respond to your inquiry.
1.2 Information Submitted to Third-Party Providers
When you submit forms for quotes, offers, or services embedded via third-party widgets/iframes or by following links to a Provider site, your data is collected by that Provider. Such data is not collected by Smart Choices Now. The Provider’s collection and use of your data is governed by the Provider’s privacy policy. Please review it before submitting information.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically (Cookies, Logs, Device Data)
When you visit the Site, we (and/or our service providers) may automatically collect certain technical information to operate and improve the Services, such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, timestamps, referring/exit pages, and identifiers like the user-agent string. We use cookies and similar technologies as described below.
1.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed in your browser. We use cookies and similar tools (e.g., local storage, pixels) to:
- maintain session state and preferences,
- measure Site performance and usage in aggregate,
- support basic ad/attribution measurement for our publishing activities.
Cookies we use are not intended to store sensitive personal data. Some cookies may be set by third-party analytics or advertising vendors; their use is governed by their policies.
2) How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its performance.
- Respond to messages you send us directly (support or inquiries).
- Analytics in aggregate form to understand traffic and detect issues.
- Compliance and security (e.g., fraud/abuse detection, enforcing our Terms of Service).
We do not use your information to send you marketing emails or SMS messages, and we do not sell your personal contact information. Providers to whom you submit forms may contact you per their privacy policies and consent mechanisms.
3) How We Share Information
- Service Providers: We may share limited technical or operational data with vendors who host our Site, provide analytics, security, or maintenance. They are authorized to use information only to perform services for us and must protect it.
- Third-Party Providers (Offers/Quotes): If you click through to or submit a form hosted by a Provider, your data goes directly to that Provider. We may receive non-personal reporting (e.g., conversions) for attribution, but we do not receive your submitted contact details unless you contact us directly.
- Legal/Compliance: To comply with law or legal process; to protect rights, property, or safety; to detect and prevent fraud or abuse; or to enforce our Terms.
- Corporate Events: In connection with mergers, acquisitions, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, to the extent permitted by law.
4) Your Choices
- Cookies: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect certain Site functions.
- Do Not Track: Our Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals. You can manage tracking via browser settings and extensions.
- Marketing from Providers: If you submitted data to a Provider and wish to opt out of their communications (email/SMS/calls), use the unsubscribe or “STOP” instructions provided by that Provider, or contact them directly per their privacy policy.
5) Access, Correction, and Deletion
If you contacted us directly, you may request access, correction, or deletion of the information you provided by emailing support@smart-choices-now.com. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law.
If you submitted a form to a third-party Provider, please direct your access/deletion requests to that Provider, as they control and process your submission.
6) Data Retention
For messages you send us directly, we retain information only as long as needed to respond and for legitimate business purposes (e.g., security, compliance), after which we delete or de-identify it. Technical logs may be kept for a limited period for security and diagnostics.
7) Security
We implement commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information within our control. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8) Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to a Provider via an offer, please contact that Provider. If information was sent to us directly, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9) Third-Party Sites, Embeds, and Frames
Our pages may include links to third-party websites and may embed or frame third-party forms, widgets, or content (e.g., quote forms). We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review the applicable third-party privacy policies before submitting information.
10) Communications and TCPA
Smart Choices Now does not send marketing emails or SMS messages to users. If you submit your phone number or email to a Provider through an offer/form, you may receive communications from that Provider as permitted by your consent to them (including autodialed or prerecorded calls, SMS/MMS, or email). Message and data rates may apply. To opt out, follow the Provider’s instructions (e.g., reply “STOP” to texts, use unsubscribe links in emails) or contact the Provider directly.
11) International Users
If you access the Services from outside your home jurisdiction, be aware that information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws than your country. Where we act as a publisher and do not collect your personal contact data, such processing is typically limited to technical logs and analytics.
12) Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as required (e.g., by prominent notice on the Site). Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
